The Heart behind Hope-Filled Devotionals, Delivered to Her Doorstep

Becoming a mom became my most important ministry. But who was ministering to me? Becoming a mom meant I had a tiny soul to steward. But who was stewarding my soul?

Surely, God sees us and speaks to us in our most sensitive seasons of motherhood. But our human hearts don’t always adapt so swiftly to how our relationship may change with our Creator as we ourselves experience creating new life.

As a new mother, I missed the slow mornings spent with the Lord in solitude. Though my mornings as a mother were still slow with my sweet newborn, I struggled to seek God’s word in such a drastically new season.

Every part of me was exhausted. I couldn’t comprehend lengthy bible studies, I couldn’t decide what to read. My capacity was so small. Eventually, I developed a flexible rhythm of quiet time that would ebb and flow with the ever-changing routines of my baby. But I’ll never forget how shockingly lost I felt in my faith those first months of motherhood.

That’s why I created Doorstep Devotionals. Short. Simple. Sweet. Saturated with the aroma of Christ. Sealed and sent with love. For the mama who desires biblical encouragement designed for HER sacred postpartum season. Because while it’s a beautiful season, it’s also a hard season. A time where women need extra nourishment, spiritually, not just physically.

Doorstep Devotionals is designed to be a special avenue for mamas to experience Jesus’ love for them in the thick of it without any required headspace or large time commitment. Encouragement that is Christ-centered and Spirit-filled, sent directly to their doorstep each week for six weeks. A simple way to minister to mamas. A sweet way to steward their hearts as they learn to navigate motherhood. A manageable means of connecting with their Creator. Every mama deserves to feel seen. May Doorstep Devotionals open so many mamas’ eyes to behold the way God sees them in each of their unique postpartum seasons.
