Certified Postpartum Doula
Ahna’s heart for serving women in the delicate postpartum period developed when she was just a young woman herself. At 19 she took initiative to pursue training and certification as a Postpartum Doula. Serving clients in postpartum combined with her many years as a trusted family Nanny, Ahna comes alongside new mothers and families in the delicate season of postpartum to support a positive transition in a peaceful environment for the whole family.
Care Options Can Include :
❃ Assistance with feeding, diapering, settling baby
❃ Supportive listening & engagement with mother
❃ Light housekeeping including dishes, laundry
❃ Meal prep, planning, and cooking
❃ Creation / support of family household routines to keep the delicate postpartum season peaceful.
Package Options & Care Schedules:
❃ Package One: Daytime Support
❃ Four visit dates, 3 hr. sessions between hours of 9am-5pm, $540 (eq. $45/hr)
❃ Package Two: Transitional Support Most popular!
❃ Four visit dates, 3 hr sessions during morning or evening transitional hours either 6-9am or 7-10pm, $600 (eq. $50/hr)
Postpartum families require support at all hours of the day. Mothers have described support at transitional times (waking and starting the daily routines, or evenings of winding down, resting, and resetting the home to be the most beneficial—it’s incredible to wake up to a clean house with the laundry done and folded, or to go to bed knowing that someone else can provide support with clean up and settling baby!
